LOVE this song, it hit the charts when we were partying in the Caribbean. Once the beat begins, you can't stand still. It's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI knew a guy who was in Mungo Jerry and left to pursue another career just a couple of months before they got their big break, when "In the Summertime" became a hit. He could be considered unlucky. Last time I heard of him, someone told me that his garden shed had caught fire and destroyed his greenhouse (not very rock n roll).
